Jennifer W. Lisle
November 27, 1936 - November 17, 2022
Jennifer Waide Lisle, age 85, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Carl J. Lisle for 57 years, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on November 17th 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Evanston Illinois on November 27th, 1936. She was the daughter of Douglas and June Waide. She was a graduate of Northwestern University and worked as a medical secretary. She moved to Fairfield in 1975. She was an active member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and loved singing in the choir. She was also an avid sailor for many years. She and her husband would be on their beautiful sailboat for weeks at a time. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and Grammy. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will live in our hearts and all who knew and loved her.
Jennifer will be deeply missed. Survivors, include her husband Carl Lisle of Fairfield CT, her children, son Brian Lisle of Hays, NC, and daughter Heather Chirigos of Fairfield, her husband Gus Chirigos, and cherished granddaughter Athena Chirigos.
The family would like to extend a Special thank you to Jennifer’s nurse, Aldene Kirton, to other nurse aids, and to Connecticut Hospice for their care and the support they provided.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 661 Old Post Rd., Fairfield.
